Project Overview
Tipsoi is a biometric workforce management startup offering AI-powered attendance and productivity tracking for large organizations. While the product vision and technology were robust, the founding team sought deep strategic support to navigate the early-stage funding landscape and position themselves for international investment. Ontik Advisory partnered closely with Tipsoi through multiple intensive strategy sessions and workshops. Together, we iterated on their business model, refined their go-to-market and monetization approach, and co-developed final strategies. Project Scope
Ontik Advisory was responsible for:
- Delivering strategic advisory, holding frequent working sessions with the founders to refine their growth model, stress-test assumptions, and collaboratively finalize go-to-market and monetization strategies that would resonate with global investors.
- Conducting deep market research, including an overview of the workforce management and biometric authentication space, competitor mapping, and defining market sizing through TAM, SAM, and SOM. The research was tailored based on the revised strategy we shaped together with the founders.
- Building a robust financial model, reflecting realistic projections under pessimistic, moderate, and optimistic growth scenarios. The model was iterated multiple times to ensure it aligned with the strategic direction and financial expectations discussed during strategy sessions.
- Designing the investor journey map, outlining investment types, investor personas, capital allocation, and exit scenarios—all co-developed based on strategy decisions made collaboratively with the founders.
- Crafting a comprehensive business plan, shaped directly from the strategic narrative and market positioning defined through multiple rounds of discussions.
- Developing a one-page investment teaser, which was refined through strategic input to highlight only the most relevant points for accelerator and early investor engagement.
- Creating a compelling investor pitch deck, reflecting not just the product and market fit but a sharp, aligned, and investor-friendly story developed through joint strategic thinking.
